Where the data comes from
Conservation areas and Tree Preservation Orders are read live from planning.data.gov.uk, the government's planning database, using data published by your council.
Not every council publishes TPOs
In our area, Dartford, Gravesham, Maidstone, Medway publish their TPO registers. Other councils (including Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lewisham, Sevenoaks and Tonbridge & Malling) don't yet. For those, we check directly with the council for you.
A guide, not legal advice
Records can be incomplete or out of date, and new TPOs can be made at any time. The council's own register is the final word, which is why we always confirm before any work starts.
