Team Day 2025

TeamPooleDorsetSummer 2025

Tree surgery is physical, early-morning, all-weather work. When the forecast said heat wave, we didn't hesitate. We packed up and headed to Poole Harbour for a day on the water.

The whole team made the trip down to Dorset, swapped chainsaws for wetsuits, and spent the day on Sea-Doos out of Poole Harbour. The route took us east along the coast to Old Harry Rocks, the chalk sea stacks at the tip of Studland Bay, which made for a pretty good backdrop for a team photo.

Conditions were exactly what you'd want: open water, a bit of chop, and enough space to properly open them up. A few people ended up in the water. Nobody was upset about it.

Days like this matter. The team works hard, turns up early, and takes the job seriously: a day out is the least we can do. It also helps that they're just good people to spend time with off the tools.

“You build a good team by treating people well, not just on site but off it too. Days like this remind everyone why it's worth showing up.”
